The Blairgowrie Lady Past Captains gathered today for their annual get together. Unfortunately the inclement weather prevented them from playing for the Past Captain's Trophy, however, they were able to enjoy a delicious lunch and catch up on old times. Thanks go to the present Lady Captain Jean Laburn for organising the day. After lunch, the past captains' photographs were unveiled for everyone to see. They are in the photo above, behind the ladies. These pictures will shortly be hanging upstairs outside the ladies' locker room. Thanks go to Liz Fertacz and Sandy Bushby for obtaining the photos and arranging the frames.
Lady Captain Jean Laburn welcomed 100 Ladies to our Senior Ladies Invitation Day today. The format was Greensomes, played over Rosemount, in very sultry conditions. We were lucky - everyone had just completed their rounds when the heavens opened with a torrential downpour.
